Obituary: David R. Marsh, 91, of Branford

David R. Marsh of Branford died Monday October 11, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Mr. Marsh was born in Branford July 7, 1930, son of the late Whitney and Vega Reynolds Marsh and was a lifelong resident of Branford. He was a 1948 graduate of Branford High School where he was the Class President. He played baseball at BHS and was inducted into the Branford Sports Hall of Fame in 2000. He was a lifelong member of Tabor Lutheran Church in Branford. He worked in sales for all of his working life until retiring.

He was devoted to his family including his sons, Peter Marsh of Branford and Daniel (Tina) Marsh of Newtown, and his grandchildren, Ethan, Devin and Ella. He was predeceased by his companion of over 40 years, Natalie Walsh, his son David Marsh, and his brother Karl Marsh.

Visiting hours will be Friday October 22, 2021 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, with a memorial service at 11:00. Burial will follow in Tabor Cemetery, Branford.
