Obituary: Deborah Ann Green (Forbes) of Branford
Debbie was a graduate of Branford High School, Class of 1981. She helped to get official varsity status for girl's hockey team.

Deborah Ann Green (Forbes) of Branford, died Friday January 26, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, after a valiant battle. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey H. Forbes. Debbie was born July 8, 1963, daughter of Richard H. and Judith Morris Green of Clinton.
Besides her husband and parents, Debbie is survived by her beloved children, Cameron C. Wood of VT, Jillian J. Wood of CT, Liza R. Wood of Boston and Colby R. Wood of VT; her sister Donna L. Borrelli of Branford; brothers, Richard (Allyson) Green of WVA, and Robert (Deb) Green of VA; her brother-in-law Gregory H. Forbes of Branford; and her maternal grandmother Irene Morris of Branford.

Debbie is also survived by nine beloved nieces and nephews who cherished their beloved “Auntie.” Debbie was a graduate of Branford High School, Class of 1981, and New Hampshire College, 1985, with a B. A. in Retail Management. She worked in San Francisco and New York before settling in Vermont to raise her family. She devoted her time to donating her services at her children’s schools and sporting events and many other volunteer activities.
Debbie relocated back to her beloved hometown of Branford in 2004. She was instrumental in helping to get official varsity status for the Branford Girl’s Hockey Team. Debbie’s passions were her beloved garden, the beach and ocean, and time spent with her family boating. She loved music, especially Motown and was a phenomenal dancer.

Her family and many friends were a vital part of her life. They loved her dearly and she will always be remembered by her ability to light up a room and make everyone feel special. She is cherished and will be missed for all eternity.Friends may call Friday February 2, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, and may attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday February 3, 2018 at 12:00 PM in St. George Church, Guilford.
