Obituary: Donald Corraro, 86, of Branford

Donald Corraro of Branford passed away on Sunday October 1 at CT Hospice in Branford. He was the husband of Mildred (Joie) Curbow Corraro of Branford. He was the father of Mary Griskewicz (Stanley) of Madison and Noreen Corraro of New Haven. He is also survived by his brothers Richard Corraro of Cheshire and Robert Corraro of Madison, as well as a number of grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Don was born in New Haven on September 3, 1937, a son of A. Clifford Corraro and Genevieve Dombrowski Corraro. He was a crane operator for the Local 478 Operating Engineers for 65 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 at St. Therese Church of St. John Bosco Parish in Branford. Burial will follow at Branford Center Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the mass from 8:30 – 9:30 at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford.
