Dorothea A. “Dorrie” Friscoe Kyprianides, 65, of Branford, died at Yale New Haven Hospital on Christmas Day. She was the wife of Paul Kyprianides. She was born in New Haven on July 13, 1953. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother Matilda Canna Friscoe of East Haven, a son, Matthew T. (Stefanie) Kyprianides of Chicago, IL, a daughter Clarissa O’Neill of Meriden and two sisters, Virginia “Ginny” (Andrew) Muro of New Haven and Laura (Joseph) DiVerniero of East Haven. She was predeceased by her father Thomas M. Friscoe, Jr. and her step-mother, Ida “Toni” Obert Friscoe. Dorrie worked for the City of New Haven in the Controllers Office

Funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 10 am at the East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
