Dorothy Reading 98 of East Haven and Branford passed away peacefully on March 6, 2016 at Branford Health Center. She was born January 14, 1918 in New Haven to John and Emma (Berabault) Anderson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frederick Reading (1993), daughter, Patricia Lowell, granddaughters, Sandra Warmingham and Michelle Reynolds and sisters, Irene Auerhamer and Ethel Logan. Dorothy is survived by loving daughter, Doris Warmingham (Robert) of Thompson, CT and son, Frederick Reading (Dora) of Clearwater, FL.

Dorothy is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending summer in Nantucket. She also belonged to the Old Stone Church, East Haven.
A private graveside service will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in East Haven. Funeral services are in the care of Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
