Obituary: Eleanor Wheeler, 96, of Branford
She was a Registered Nurse, and worked at the Bridgeport Hospital and as a private duty nurse.

Eleanor Wheeler, formerly of Branford died on Friday November 11 at Skyview in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Walter Wheeler.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah Allen of North Branford, her granddaughter Denise Lebrocquy and her great-grandson Tyler Lebrocquy of Middletown. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Davin.

Eleanor was born in Grandville, N.Y. on January 18, 1920, a daughter of the late Charles and Rita Hamblet Tichenor. She was a Registered Nurse, and worked at the Bridgeport Hospital and as a private duty nurse. She was active in the White Hills Women's Auxillary.
Her family wishes to thank the staff at Skyview for all their care and compassion they gave to Eleanor during her time there.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:00 at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford. Friends may call prior to the service from 10:30-11:00. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
