Obituary: Elizabeth (Crowley) Mulvey, 92, of Branford
Devoted wife and mother, Elizabeth found her joy in her family. She spent time in her early years working for SNET.

Elizabeth (Crowley) Mulvey 92 of East Haven and Branford passed away peacefully on January 27, 2019. She was born March 19, 1926 in Austin, MA to John F. and Mae Traub (Rausch) Crowley. Elizabeth is survived by her loving children; Maureen Levatino (Phil) of East Haven, Holly Mulvey of Branford, Nancy Grindley (Chris) of Milford, Cindy Mulvey (Art Konstantino) of Florida, Tim Mulvey of New Haven.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Susan Levatino, Cheryl Levatino, Russ Urquhart, Eric Urquhart, Dan Grindley, Kaitlyn Mulvey, Joseph Mulvey and a sister, Kathy MacGregor (Tom) of Clinton. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph Mulvey (1977) and brother, Jack Crowley.

Devoted wife and mother, Elizabeth found her joy in her family. She spent time in her early years working for SNET, later at Commercial Union Insurance. She enjoyed gardening, crosswords, reading, dining out and travel.
Family will receive friends on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 9 – 10:40 a.m. at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Her funeral procession will then leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
