Obituary: Frances M. Ward of Branford

Frances M. Ward of Branford died on Saturday July 14 at the Groton Regency Center. She is survived by her sisters Patricia Mappa of North Haven, Kathleen Corso of Northford, and her long time friend and caretaker Julie Mott of Branford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Edmund Ward. Frances was born in New Haven on October 29, 1950, a daughter of the late Francis and Viola Christy Ward.

She worked for Marlin’s Firearms for 30 years. She loved her family, friends, and animals.Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. The W.S.
