Obituary: George D. Lepre Sr. of Branford
He was a Constable for the Town of Branford as was also an Honorary Deputy Sheriff for the State of Connecticut.

George D. Lepre Sr. of Branford died on Wednesday December 6 at Ct Hospice in Branford. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Massey Lepre. He was the father of Susan Lepre of North Haven and George Lepre Jr. (and his loving companion Pamela Bashar) of Stratford. He was the brother of Marion Perry of Branford. He is also survived by his grandchildren Scott and Deanna, who were his pride and joy. He was predeceased by his sister Rose Cipriani, as well as his brothers Francesco, John, Tony, Frank, Sammy, James, and Joseph. George was born in New Haven on March 23, 1926, a son of Dominic and Mary Lepre. He worked for the Cosgrove Construction Company in Branford for 40 years.
He was a Constable for the Town of Branford as was also an Honorary Deputy Sheriff for the State of Connecticut. He was an avid fan of the New York football Giants, the New York Rangers, and the UCONN Women’s Basketball Team.

He was an especially avid fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. He enjoyed going to the Waterford Speed Bowl and frequenting all the state’s annual fairs. George’s family wants to thank the doctors and nurses at the Hospital of St. Raphael and CT Hospice for all their loving care.
