Obituary: Georgia Lee Vallie, 75, of Branford

Georgia Lee Vallie of Branford, died Thursday September 14, 2023 at her home after a courageous battle against a long illness.

Lee was born October 4, 1947 in New Haven, daughter of the late Jack E. Moore and Esther Card Moore-Saiano. She worked as a nurse at Connecticut Hospice for many years until retiring. She loved a good book, a good laugh, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son Scott (Lori) Vallie of East Haven, her cherished grandchildren, Sean, Elizabeth and Ryan Vallie, her brother Jack (Sue) Moore and her sister Gail Morrone, both of East Haven.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Thursday at 12:00 noon, with a visitation prior to the service from 11:00 – noon at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford.
