Gerald S. “Jerry” Peterson of Branford dies Sunday December 10, 2017 in Branford. Jerry was born in New Haven October 5, 1963 son of Bertil Peterson of Branford and the late Barbara Byrne Peterson, and he was a lifelong Branford resident. Jerry worked for Su Casa Restaurant in Branford for many years.

Jerry was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants. He loved to golf and to bowl. Besides his father, Jerry is survived by his sons, Andrew D. and Christopher E. Peterson of Branford; his sister, Cathy DeFrances of Wethersfield; brother Edward Peterson of Gilbert, AZ and his four nieces.
