Obituary: Germaine Lepre, 95, Formerly Of Branford
She was a secretary at West Lake Lodge in Guilford for 20 years, retiring in 1989. Before that she was a cigar maker at F. D. Graves.

Germaine Lepre of Newtown, formerly of Branford, died Tuesday January 16, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Lepre. Mrs. Lepre was born in East Haven March 26, 1922, daughter of the late Charles and Alphonsine Anthonis Van Egghen.
She was a secretary at West Lake Lodge in Guilford for 20 years, retiring in 1989. Before that she was a cigar maker at F. D. Graves. She was a 50-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Frank J. Lepre, Jr. (JoAnn Tafuto) of Clinton and Sandra A. Lepre Orleman (Jon Masella) of Newtown; her sister Frances Goering of Branford; her brother Louis Van Egghen of Branford; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Hardenburgh.
Her funeral will leave the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, Saturday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the funeral from 8:30 - 9:30 at the funeral home.
