Obituary: Gina Marie Drew , 42, of Branford

Gina passed away after a three year fight with cancer, surrounded by an overwhelming amount of love from family and friends. Gina is now reunited with her parents, Ann and Thomas Parisi, grandparents, aunt, and cousin.

Gina was so loved, and will be deeply missed by her sister, Tami (Parisi) Chicarilli, brother-in-law Damien Chicarilli, niece Sophia and nephew Tyler, many dear friends, aunts, uncles, and loving cousins. Her family meant the absolute world to her and she fought this battle with them right by her side. She was blessed with nuptials, marrying her long time love, Stephen Drew, in a ceremony this week.

Gina had a passion for children, who all loved her, leading her to graduate from Salve Regina University with a degree in Education. Gina will be remembered for her love of dancing, ability to educate, love of family and friends, and will be cherished for her laugh, which came easy and often and will long echo with all who love her.

Gina lived with passion, danced with grace, and loved with her whole heart.

Relatives and friends may attend visiting hours Tuesday evening from 4 – 8 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244, North Main Street, Branford, and are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
