Obituary: Harry Scott Murdock, 66, of Branford

Harry Scott Murdock of Branford passed away in Branford on May 27, 2022. He was the father of Harry Scott Murdock Jr. of East Haven, James Murdock (wife Alicia) of Enfield, and Jeffrey Murdock (wife Christine McQuade) of Longmeadow, MA. He was the brother of Glenn Murdock (wife Alberta) of Branford and Patricia Bennett (husband William) of North Haven. He is also survived by his partner Anneliese Milici of North Branford and his grandchildren, Michaela Murdock, Cameron Murdock, Isabella Grieco, and Alivianna Grieco-Murdock. He was predeceased by his brother Brian Murdock. Harry was born in New Haven on April 21, 1956, a son of the late Harry W. Murdock and Ruth Bergin Murdock Walsh.

He was an estimator for the AAIS Corporation for many years. He was also a member of the Branford Elks Club. His love for golf and the New England Patriots was exceeded only by his love for his family. Harry (Scott) will live in our hearts forever.

A funeral service will be held at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford on Friday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Orange Center Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Save the Children @ www.savethechildren.org.
