Obituary: Helen Olszewski, 92, formerly of Branford

Helen Olszewski, 92, of East Haven, formerly of Branford, died Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Apple Rehab-Laurel Woods in East Haven.

She was born in Branford March 29, 1923, daughter of the late Julius and Jesse Coolac Olszewski. She had worked for many years at Berger Brothers.

She is survived by her brother John (Winnie) Olszewski, and her brother-in-law, Walter Zielinski, all of Branford, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Sophie Zielinski.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Saturday morning at 10:00 in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, and may call prior to the funeral from 9:00 – 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
