Obituary: Henry G. Williams, 73, of Branford

Henry G. Williams of Branford, died Friday January 6, 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary Sambrook Williams. Mr. Williams was born in Flushing, NY, May 25, 1943, son of the late Lloyd and Elizabeth Williams.

He worked for Blakeslee Pre-stress in Branford for the past five years. He had formerly worked as a police officer with the Branford Police Department, as a truck drive with Atlantic Trucking and also as a lineman with CL & P. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Melinda Brown of Salome, AZ, Stacy Rankin of Oakhurst, CA, Eric Williams, and Sarrah (Shawn) Gavin of Madison; his brother Stephen (Barbara) Williams of Ohio; his sister, Patricia Northrup of Clinton, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
