Obituary: Henry John DeMartino, 81, of Branford
He graduated from Quinnipiac College and he worked as a computer programmer for the City of Milford Board of Education for many years.

Henry John DeMartino of New Haven, died Monday February 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Rose Saturno DeMartino. Henry was born June 9, 1936 in New Haven, son of the late Henry and Pasquelina DeMartino. He was a graduate of St. Mary High School in New Haven, and served in the U. S. Army.
He graduated from Quinnipiac College and he worked as a computer programmer for the City of Milford Board of Education for many years until retiring. He had a true passion and love for baseball, golf and cars. Henry was inducted into the New Haven Gridiron Hall of Fame and was a member of the Prihilliam Club in North Haven.

Besides his wife, Henry is survived by his children, Marie (Greg) Johnson of Branford and Michael H. (Karen) DeMartino of New Haven and his grandkids, Andrew and Ally Johnson and Jenna and Michael DeMartino, Jr. He was predeceased by his brother Ralph DeMartino and sisters Elaine DeMartino and Marie Biehl.Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to St. Mary Church in Branford for a Mass of Christian Burial Friday morning at 11:00. Burial will be private.
