Obituary: Howard Platt Titus, 87, of Branford

Howard Platt Titus, 87, of Branford passed away May 12, 2022 in Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Husband of the late Linda Price Titus. Beloved father of Bernice “Pixie” (Vincent) Ricca of Branford. Loving grandfather of Michael (Stacy) Ricca, Vincent Ricca, Eileen Purdy, Katherine Bruno and Melinda Case. Also survived by 5 cherished great grandsons. He was predeceased by sisters, Bernice Dart and Lillian Gleason. Howard was born in Walkill, NY on December 11, 1934 a son of the late Platt and Grace Randall Titus.

Prior to his retirement Howard worked for the NY, NH & Hartford R.R., Conrail and Metro North for many years. He was a member of the United Transportation Union.

Family and friends are invited to a Parlor Service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Tuesday morning at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
