James J. Pattison, Sr. of Griswold, CT passed away on 10/22/2017 due to complications from leukemia. He was 79.A long time resident of Branford, CT, Jim leaves his wife of 57 years, Anna Pattison; daughter Cindy Pattison and grandsons Matt and Chris Reil of Griswold, CT; son and daughter-in-law Jim and Lisa C. Pattison of Foxboro, MA; brother and sister-in-law Ed and MaryJane Pattison; sister-in-law Lyn Pattison; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother Bob Pattison. Jim retired after a 40 year career with the U.S. Postal Service. He was avid antique car enthusiast; he and Ann traveled extensively in their 1950 Ford shoebox convertible. Funeral and burial will be private. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Jim's life on Saturday, 10/28/2017 from noon to 4 pm at the American Legion CT Post 83, 243 North Main Street, Branford, CT.
