Obituary: Jeffrey C. Bartholomew, 70, of Branford, June 11 Service Set
A kind soul who loved fast cars, he was a US Army veteran and diesel mechanic, who, for 30 years, owned/operated Jeff's Truck & Auto Repair.

Jeffrey C. Bartholomew, 70 of Branford, passed away unexpectedly at Yale New Haven Hospital on April 30 2022. By his side were his two daughters and close friend Ryan. Jeffrey was born in New Haven on June 12, 1951 to the late Clifford Bartholomew and Virginia (Harrison) Bartholomew.
He was raised in Branford, where he discovered his love for the ocean and fast cars. From there he was determined to learn everything about them, and he did. He could fix anything. Jeff later joined the United States Army, where he became a diesel mechanic. After serving for many years, he opened his own garage - Jeff’s Truck and Auto Repair, which was successful for over 30 years. Among his love for anything with an engine, he also enjoyed nature, watching the birds and getting in the garden. Jeff was a kind soul, a great father, and a good friend. He will be forever missed.
