Obituary: Jennifer Lynn Shaffner, 43, of Branford

Jennifer Lynn Shaffner, 43, of Branford passed away at home on November, 4, 2020. She was born on September 21, 1977 in New Haven to Wesley and Joan (Cunningham) Shaffner. Jennifer is survived by her mother, and sisters Lindsey Shaffner of Branford and Erin (Shaffner) Marino (Michael) of Branford and a niece Morgan Marino of Branford. Along with many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was also survived by her best friend, her dog Lola.

Early on in Jen's adult life she worked in customer service at SBC. She worked there for many years and loved it. She really enjoyed talking to people and helping them. Jen didn’t just love getting to know people; she was a lover of animals as well. Especially dogs. She never passed up an opportunity to pet a dog. She knew all the dogs in the neighborhood and enjoyed running out to greet them as they passed by. She had a heart of gold.
