John L. "Jack" Gaudio, Sr., 78, beloved husband of 56 years to Mary Jane DiBiaso Gaudio of Milford passed away May 7, 2016. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children Marcie (Joseph) Bow of Fairfield and John L. "Jack" Gaudio, Jr. of New Haven and his cherished grandchildren, Erica (Chris) Gemmell, Anthony Gaudio, Amanda, Brendan and Alex Bow.
Prior to his retirement in 2000, Jack was a Mason Contractor and owned his own company for 20 years. In 1980 he became the proud owner of The Snack Shop on State St. in New Haven for 16 years.

He then went on to own the Park Place Deli in Branford. Jack was an avid golfer and former member of the Wallingford C.C. and loved the Yankees, Giants and the UCONN Huskies. He enjoyed spending time with family and especially all his grandchildren.
His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven Thursday morning at 9:45. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church (Milford) at 10:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 5:00-8:00 PM.
