John W. Schroeder, IV, of Branford, died Wednesday January 31, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Linda Stickle Schroeder. John was born in New Haven January 26, 1958 son of John W. Schroeder, III, of Guilford and the late Patricia Pleines.

He worked as a deli clerk at Stop & Shop in Branford for the past 11 years. John enjoyed fishing, riding his bike and gardening. Besides his wife and father, John is survived by his brother, Steven (Kerry) Schroeder of Guilford, his sister, Doriene (Christopher) Wester of Prospect; brother-in-law, Richard Stickle of Branford, sister-in-law, Leslie (Robert) Dengler of Branford; nieces Megan and Erin Wester and Michelle Dengler; and nephew Steven Schroeder, Jr.
