Obituary: Joseph J. Casanova, 97, of Branford
A WWII U. S. Navy veteran, he worked as a real estate agent for the Beasley Real Estate Company in Branford for many years before retiring.

Joseph J. Casanova of Branford died Tuesday August 8, 2023 at the Guilford House. He was the beloved husband of the late Glory Christantemi Casanova.
Joe was born June 30, 1926 in New Haven, a son of the late James and Anna Fiorelli Casanova. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He worked as a real estate agent for the Beasley Real Estate Company in Branford for many years until retiring.

Joe is survived by his children, Carol A. Casanova of New Haven, Joseph Casanova, Jr. of Branford and Mark (Beth) Casanova of North Branford; his grandchildren, Jarrod Casanova and Kurt Casanova, AT2, U. S. Navy; and his sister Connie Casanova of Branford. He was predeceased by his brother Pasquale J. Casanova and his sister Rose Neuremberg.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday morning at 10:00 in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Therese Church, 105 Leetes Island Road, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. There are no calling hours.
