Obituary: Keith Richard Estrom, 40, of Branford
His final act was the gift of life, saving two lives through the donation of his kidneys and gave two the ability to see with his corneas.

Surrounded by his family, Keith Richard Estrom, 40, of Branford, CT passed away on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at Danbury Hospital due to a traumatic work accident.
Keith was born on October 11, 1982 to Robert & Joyce Estrom of Branford, CT. After Keith graduated from Branford High School in 2001, he went on to attend Mitchell College in New London CT and Saint Rose in Albany, NY where he played baseball and pitched for both colleges.

Keith loved working outdoors, doing manual labor, and was never afraid of hard work. He put his heart and soul into renovating his house and anytime anyone needed him to help with anything, he was always there. Keith had a passion for the outdoors. He loved fishing, boating, and hiking. Music was another passion, Dispatch and Pink Floyd especially. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and their families and loved their children like they were his own.
Keith was known for his kindness and big smile which made everyone around him feel comfortable and loved.

Courageously, Keith obtained sobriety for 397 days prior to his passing. Keith had a great support system in both friends and family who were extremely proud of him. He also gave his full support to those who were on a similar path and always reached out in their time of need.

Keith is survived by his parents, Robert & Joyce Estrom, sister Kari Constantinople (Andrew) from North Branford, twin brother Michael Estrom (Kristin) from Sudbury, MA and nieces, Isabella, Quinn, Ava, and Viviana whom he adored. Keith had many aunts, uncles, and cousins who supported him throughout his journey and were so very special to him and he loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Killiam’s Point in Branford, CT on Saturday October 21, 2023 from 1:00 - 5:00pm. Buses will be available to bring you back & forth (details to follow.) In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to either Danbury Hospital or an organization that is dear to your heart.
