Obituary: Kenneth C. Schneider, 67, of Branford
Ken was a very active member of United Methodist Church in Branford. He was an avid reader, passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Kenneth C. Schneider of Branford, died Saturday January 20, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice, surrounded by his loved ones. Ken was born in Middletown on November 23, 1950, son of the late James J. and Lila Tresselt Schneider.
He worked at the Meriden-Wallingford Anesthesia Group in Meriden until his retirement. Prior to that, he worked at Circuit Wise in North Haven until their closing. Ken was a very active member of United Methodist Church in Branford.

He was an avid reader, passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Rangers, and had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoying peaceful walks through the woods whenever possible. Ken is survived by his children, Kristina (John ) Pappas of West Haven and Michelle (Robert) Spencer of New Britain.
His family would like to express their sincerest thanks to the extraordinary staff of Smilow Cancer Hospital for their compassionate care and support.Ken possessed a kind and genuine spirit, which made those around him feel at ease. He will be deeply missed.Friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Saturday January 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the United ethodist Church, 811 East Main Street, Branford.
