Obituary: Kenneth Peter Tercyak, 79, of Branford
An avid private pilot, bass fisherman, and fan of the New York Yankees and UCONN basketball, Kenny was a longtime resident of Branford.

Kenneth Peter Tercyak (age 79) passed away peacefully on July 10, 2018 at Hospice in Branford, Connecticut. Kenny was the loving husband of 55 years to Rosemary Tercyak and father of Alicia Chasse (Roger) of Branford and Kenneth Tercyak (Randi) of Bethesda, MD. He was also a devoted grandfather to five grandchildren: Adam and Caroline Chasse, and Samuel, Anna, and Ryan Tercyak.
He was predeceased by his parents (Peter and Ann Sadowski Tercyak) of New Haven and sister (Patricia Tercyak Donadio) of North Palm Beach, FL. Kenny was born on June 28, 1939 in New Haven and graduated from the University of Hartford with a degree in electrical engineering. He was the owner of Electrical Designs, Inc., a consulting engineering firm. An avid private pilot, bass fisherman, and fan of the New York Yankees and UCONN basketball, Kenny was a longtime resident of Branford, and often seen in the afternoons walking in Stony Creek with his faithful companion Stashu.

W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements. Friends are invited to go directly to St. Therese Church Hall, 105 Leetes Island Road, Branford on Friday, July 13 to visit with the family from 9:00-9:50 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am followed by the burial at The North Guilford Cemetery in Guilford.
