Obituary: ​Lillian Baldino Conway, 87, of Branford

She always had a beautiful garden and loved feeding and watching the birds, especially cardinals who were her favorite.

Lillian Baldino Conway, 87, of Branford, Ct passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice of Branford. Lillian was a lifelong resident of East Haven and Branford, CT.

Lillian was predeceased by her first husband Albert Baldino, with whom she had three children, Bruce (Maureen) Baldino, Deborah(Gene) Tippett, and Sheryl Carpenter. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jessica Baldino Sterling, Jeremy Baldino, Michael Suppe, Casey and Alizabeth Carpenter and Kesh McCann. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law Elizabeth Baldino.

She was also predeceased by her second husband William Conway and two step-sons Bruce and Gregg Conway. Lillian is survived by her step-daughter Dana(Scott) Knight and step-son Kevin Conway. She is also survived by eight step grandchildren, Sarah Conway Karge, Patrick, Dylon, Kalee and Tyler Conway, Brianna and Casey Knight, Reyna Anman, and great grandson Zach Karge.

Lillian dedicated her life to caregiving for her family. She always had a beautiful garden and loved feeding and watching the birds, especially cardinals who were her favorite. Lillian enjoyed knitting and crocheting, giving many wonderful hats, scarves, and afghans to her family and friends. The recipes she handed down will continue to be enjoyed by her family for years to come.
