Obituary: Lillian Olejarczyk, 88, of Branford
Before retiring, she was a Judicial Assistant for Judge José A. Cabranes of the U.S. District Court of CT and the U.S. Second Circuit Court.
Lillian Olejarczyk of Branford died after a long illness on Sunday October 24, 2021 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the wife of the late Henry Olejarczyk. Lillian was born in New Haven October 30, 1932, daughter of the late John and Nellie Meglin Makowsky.
She was a 1950 graduate of Branford High School. Prior to her retirement, she was a Judicial Assistant for Judge José A. Cabranes of the United States District Court, District of Connecticut and the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Lillian had an active retirement, travelling, gardening, painting and doting on her grandsons. She is survived by her son, Stephen Olejarczyk (Kathleen Golden) of Bronxville, NY, and her grandsons, Henry John and Sean Patrick Olejarczyk. She was predeceased by her brothers John and Alphonse Makowsky.
Friends are invited to visiting hours Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, and may attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday morning at 10:00 in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford. Private burial at a later date.
