Louise DeMaio Federico, 86, of Branford passed peacefully on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at the Hospital of St. Raphael Campus, YNHH. She was the devoted wife of the late Vincent A. Federico, Sr.

Mrs. Federico was born August 16, 1930 in New Haven, daughter of the late Ralph and Anna DeMaio. She is survived by her sons, Vincent A. Federico, Jr., Ralph E. Federico and Richard D. Federico, all of Branford, and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Celeste Martino, Rose Torre and her brother Anthony DeMaio.

Louise was a dedicated mother, homemaker and religious soul who's number one priority was the well being of her family. She enjoyed the outdoors, and watching the New York Yankees. Later in life, Louise enjoyed greeting customers and assisting her son at a local business. Her welcoming smile, charm and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her funeral will leave the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford Thursday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 PM.
