Louise J. Birbarie, of Madison, formerly of Branford, died Monday December 11, 2017 at Watrous Nursing Center in Madison. She was the wife of the late Louis Birbarie. Louise was born in New Haven, March 6, 1923, daughter of the late Pasquale and Antoinette Sherretto Biondello. She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Stephen) Kobak of Guilford, and Laura (Steve) Nelson of Portsmouth, VA; her brother Frank Biondello of Branford; five grandchildren, Stephen, Jeffrey, Christopher and Alexander Kobak and Erik Nelson; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Fannie Biondello, Lena Travisano, Mary St. John, Ann Giordano, and her brother, Ralph Biondello. Her family would like to thank the staff at Watrous Nursing Center for the care given to Louise during her time there.

Friends are invited to a funeral service Wednesday morning at 11:00 in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, and may call prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00. Burial will follow in Branford Center Cemetery.
