Lucille D. Fiondella, 67, of Branford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Hamden Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born in New Haven on May 7, 1951 to the late Peter A. and Carmella “Millie” DellaSpina Fiondella.

Lucille worked for the SNET/AT&T Company in their Yellow Pages Division for nearly 25 years, until her retirement in 2008. She was a kind soul who loved her family, loved to bake and travel and was an Avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

She was also a member and Secretary for the East Haven Chamber of Commerce. She was the cherished sister of Ann Marie Fiondella of North Haven, Barbara DeStefano of Branford and Peter (Karen Rolli) Fiondella of PMF Cleaning Company, East Haven. Lucille also leaves her beloved nephew, Zachary (Diana) Fiondella, two nieces, Bianca (Richard) Vitale and Lauren DeStefano and a great niece Camilla Shea “Millie” Fiondella. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to all the staff, nurses and aids who provided such loving and compassionate care to Lucille during her time in the Evergreen Wing of HRHCC.

Funeral will leave the East Haven Memorial Longobardi-Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708 Thursday morning at 11 am for a mass of Christian burial in St. Michael’s Church at 11:30. Entombment will be in St. Lawrence Mausoleum. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm.
