Obituary: Maria Primavera Roberti, 90, of Branford

Maria Primavera Roberti of Branford died Monday March 1, 2021 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the beloved wife of the late Enrico Roberti.

Maria was born in Piaggi, Italy February 2, 1931, daughter of the late Giovanni and Igina Brunaccioni Primavera.

She worked in Branford as a self-employed seamstress for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Branford. Maria enjoyed her many trips back to Italy to visit her family.

She is survived by her son Tino (Kim) Roberti of Clinton; her sisters, Franca Primavera, Elia Primavera, Adalcisa DeSantis and Guerrina Pietrucci and her brother, Aldo Primavera all of Italy; her brother-in-law, Mario Schiavo of Branford, and many nieces and nephews in Italy and Branford. She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers in law, Ines Canestrari, Rita Schiavo, Valerio and Anna Moretti and Valentino and Lina Roberti, and her brother Mario Primavera.

Friends may call at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, Monday March 8th from 8:30 – 9:30 AM, and may attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary Church, 731 Main St., Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
