Marie H (Cyrs) Crotty of Branford, CT died on July 3rd 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Marie was born on April 20, 1924 in Bellows Falls, VT. She is predeceased by her parents Helen and William Cyrs, her brother Bill, and her husband Gerald Crotty. She leaves behind her beloved son Brian and her daughter in law Sue, as well as her two grandchildren Lan Le and Andrew which she adored. She also leaves behind many close friends and relatives including the "Thursday lunch girls.
Marie had a keen intellect which was intact until her passing. She was an avid fan of UCONN Basketball and the New York Yankees. Marie was a teacher's aid of special education for many years.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Therese Church in Branford Saturday at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford is in care of arrangements.
