Obituary: ​Marion J. Struzinski, 80, of Branford

Marion J. Struzinski of Branford died Thursday September 29, 2016. Marion was born in New Haven April 29, 1936 daughter of Sophie Struzinski of Branford and the late Joseph Struzinski.

Marion retired as a claims manager for the Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company after 25 years. Besides her mother, Marion is survived by her nephews, Anthony (Stephanie) Bozzuto, and Michael (Donna) Bozzuto, her niece Laurie Bozzuto, nine great nieces and nephews, and three great-great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Joseph "Sonny" Struzinski, and her "older twin" sister, Phyllis Bozzuto. She will be remembered for her love of travel, shopping, her stories, her love for family, and especially her care and devotion to her 101 year old "Mom."

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring staff and administration of Apple Rehab of Guilford and also the exceptional caring and sensitivity of Smilow ICU.Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday October 6, 2016 at 10:00 am in St. Mary Church, Branford. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. THERE ARE NO CALLING HOURS.
