Obituary: Mark E. "Gio" Giordano of Branford

Mark E. "Gio" Giordano of Branford died Sunday June 17, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Crowley Giordano. Mark was born in New Haven October 12. 1961 son of Alfred “Babe” (Dolly) Giordano of Branford, and the late Beatrice Gargamelli Giordano. Mark grew up in Branford, and he had worked for his father as an excavator.

He most recently worked for Maisano Paving. Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he was known and loved by many. Besides his wife and father, Mark is survived by his sons, Mark W. A. Giordano of Keane, NH and Anthony Giordano (Jenna Weiss) of Branford; his sisters, Germaine (Joseph) Mathis of Branford, Lisa (Daniel) Fiasconaro of Branford, Nancy (Fred) Conner of Westbrook, his brother Paul Giordano of Branford; his step-sister, Barbara DeFazio; his sister-in-law, MaryJane (Ray) Ingraham of Branford; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
