Martha S. Morris, 80, formerly of Branford, passed away peacefully at Madison House in Madison on April 28, 2018. She was the wife of the late Albert E. “Danny” Morris, Jr., a Korean War veteran, of New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Martha was born in New Bedford on February 22, 1938, daughter of the late Antone and Hazel Paes. She worked as a credit manager in New Bedford. She is survived by her daughter, Trisha Morris (Jonathan Katz) of Branford; her grandson, Michael Porto of Branford; her sisters, Roberta (Paul) Miller of New Bedford, and Susan (William) Furtado of East Freetown, MA; her brother Randall Paes of Lakeville, MA; and relatives of younger generations, all of whom brought her happiness in recent years.

Her family thanks the caregivers at Madison House and Connecticut Hospice for the kind and loving care they gave Martha at the end of her life. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday, April 30 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Please omit flowers.
