Obituary: ​Mary Jane Tylec Barry, 74, of Branford

Mary Jane Tylec Barry died May 11, 2018. Mary Jane was born in Meriden, CT, July 20, 1943, daughter of the late John Joseph and Martha Kardys Tylec. She was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, and earned her MS from Southern Connecticut State University in 1976.

Mary Jane was a teacher in the Branford school system for over 40 years. She is survived by her daughter Eliza Barry Riker (Andrew E. Riker) of Bermuda, her twin sons, Sean R. Barry and Todd J. Barry of Branford; and her grandchildren Lilah and Aaron Riker of Bermuda.Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on May 25, 2018 at 11:00 in the Old Stone Church, East Haven.
