Obituary: Michael W. Milles of Branford
Mike was the owner of his own electrical contracting business, MECO Electric. He also worked for the IBEW Local 90

Michael W. Milles of Branford, died suddenly Tuesday July 3, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Tracey Sayers Milles. Mike was born in New Haven August 7, 1959, son of Norman “Bud” Milles of Branford, and the late Barbara Egan Milles.
He was a lifelong resident of Branford. Mike was the owner of his own electrical contracting business, MECO Electric. He also worked for the IBEW Local 90. He was an avid golfer and he loved to ski. He loved to travel, especially to Block Island. He was an extremely generous person with an infectious personality who lit up every room he walked into.

He cherished his family, and besides his wife Tracey, and his father Bud, Mike is survived by his children, Ryan Milles “foolish” of New York, NY and Kendall Milles “little bit” of Branford; his sisters, Donna Hatcher of Cranston, RI and Nancy Flanagan of East Lyme; his brothers, Robert Milles and Norman “Chip” (Sue) Milles, Jr. of Branford, and his dog Miko. He was predeceased by his brother Gary Milles. Mike is also survived by many friends whom he loved greatly.
Visiting hours will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 11:00 at St. Therese Church, Branford. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 East Main Street.
