Obituary: ​Muriel Suzanne Mattson Pandolfi, 86, of Stony Creek

Muriel Suzanne Mattson Pandolfi of Stony Creek died Thursday December 22, 2016 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Pandolfi, II. Mrs. Pandolfi was born September 25, 1930 in Stony Creek, daughter of the late Martin and Jennie McLaren Mattson.

She was a lifelong resident of Stony Creek and a member of the Church of Christ Congregational in Stony Creek. She is survived by her children, Joseph A. (Barbara) Pandolfi, III of North Branford and Suzanne (Richard) Kidd of Old Saybrook; her granddaughters, Erika and Jessica Kidd; her brother William M. Mattson of Stony Creek; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Ronald J. Mattson.Visiting hours will be Monday December 26, 2016 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 11:00 at the Church of Christ Congregational, 192 Thimble Island Road, Stony Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
