Obituary: Nancy A. Chapman, 64, of Branford

Nancy A. Chapman of Branford died Sunday February 28 at CT Hospice in Branford after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Samuel Chapman of Branford. She is also survived by her nephews Dylan Distasio (Barbara), Shayne Distasio, and Casey Distasio (Amanda), her cousins Dennis and Debbie Oughton, as well as many members of the Olejarczyk and Modzelewski families, and the Graham and Chambers families. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Jessica Modzelewski, and her brother Vincent Modzelewski Jr.

Nancy was born in New Haven on April 19, 1956 and was a graduate of Branford High School Class of 1974. She worked at Times Microwave (Anphenol) for more than 30 years.

Nancy was a lifelong Branford resident who loved her hometown and always lived for her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and crocheting, and was always there for her family.
