Obituary: Nancy Gaylord, 77, of Branford

Nancy Gaylord of Branford died Saturday December 31, 2016 at the Hospital of St. Raphael Campus, YNHH. Nancy was born in New Haven September 19, 1939, daughter of the late Charles W. and Mary Graniss Gaylord.

She was a 1961 graduate of Hollins College, and she worked for WNHC and WTNH in New Haven for 40 years until retiring in 2008. It was her family's farm in Wallingford where Gaylord Hospital is now located. Nancy was a member of the First Congregational Church of Branford, the Parker Park Commission and the Branford Republican Town Committee.

She was also a member and the recording secretary for the Branford Historical Society. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the First Congregational Church of Branford, 1009 Main Street, Branford, CT 06405.
