Obituary: Ottie (Oda) Zemina, 87, of Branford

Ottie (Oda) Zemina, age 87, passed away at her home in Branford on Sunday September 25, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Virginia and Calvin Carter.

She graduated from the Louisville School of Business. She worked in the office at Brown and Williams Tobacco Company. After her marriage she worked for her husband at Indian Head Lubricants.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank Zemina. She is also survived by her son Paul Zemina of Branford, grandsons Kyle and Ryan Zemina, her sister Georgia "Pat" Simpson, and her former daughter in law Kathy Zemina, as well as many nieces.

She was predeceased by her sisters Mary Vaughn and Erma Jean Young. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Branford for 63 years. She volunteered at Ct Hospice and was a past member of the Branford Garden Club for many years. Her family always came first.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 at Trinity Episcopal Church of Branford.
