Obituary: ​Patricia "Patty" Melnysyn Myers, 72, of Branford

She worked as a bartender for the Elm Café in Branford and was previously a bookkeeper for Branford Automotive in Branford.

Patricia "Patty" Melnysyn Myers of Branford passed away on Saturday, November 18 at Smillow Cancer Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the mother of Linda Wolcheski Sullivan (husband Marty) of East Haven, Lori Wolcheski Butler (fiancé Nick Pappacoda) of Hamden, and Lisa Wolcheski Conley (husband Will) of Peoria, AZ.

She was the grandmother of Amanda Sullivan, Frank Butler Jr., Megan Butler, Nikki Butler, and Katelyn Conley. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Melnysyn. Patricia was born in New Haven on April 28, 1945, a daughter of the late Michael and Adele Naimo Melnysyn. She worked as a bartender for the Elm Café in Branford and was previously a bookkeeper for Branford Automotive in Branford. She loved her music, karaoke, bocce, and most of all, her family.

She was a member of the Branford Elks Lodge. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford, with services being held in the funeral home at 4:00. Burial will be private. Please see online memorial @ www.wsclancy.com.
