Obituary: Paul J. “Ozzie” Stankiewicz, Sr., 72

Paul J. “Ozzie” Stankiewicz, Sr., of Guilford, formerly of Branford, died Wednesday October 25, 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Theresa Kikosicki Stankiewicz. Ozzie was born in New Haven July 23, 1945, son of the late Joseph and Constance Stankiewicz. He was the owner of Ozzie’s Carting Company for over 50 years.

In his free time, Ozzie enjoyed hunting and fishing, and classic cars. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Paul J. (Lisa) Stankiewicz, Jr. of Higganum, Christopher J. (Debbie) Stankiewicz of North Branford, and Melisa Stankiewicz of Branford; his beloved grandchildren, Jimmy, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Jillian, Hunter, Hannah, Jared and Aiden; his sisters, PearlAnn Kraxberger of Las Vegas, Priscilla Angelo of Branford, Peter Stankiewicz of East Haven, and Phil Stankiewicz; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Robert Stankiewicz.
