Obituary: Paul Milles of Branford

He was the owner of Light House in Branford. He was a member of the Victorian Boys Club.

Paul Milles of Branford died peacefully in his home on December 31, 2016. He was the husband of the late Margaret Pulaski Milles. He was the father of Kim Regan (husband Joseph) of Danbury, Valerie Milles of Branford, and Susan Finn (husband Kevin) of Branford.

He was the brother of Norman "Buddy" Milles of Branford and Maureen Fusco of Shelton. He was the grandfather of Stephanie Mulford, Kelly Regan, Aaron Leigh, Kyle Finn, Chaylea Finn, and Shannon Finn. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Owen Regan and Hugh Mulford.

He was pre-deceased by his son Paul Milles Jr. , his grandson Paul Leigh, and his brother Daniel Milles.Paul was born in New Haven on December 22, 1937, a son of the late Norman and Sigrund Strom Milles.

He was a member of the IBEW Local 90 and was the Vice President of the Otto H. Schulz Electrical Company. He was also the owner of Light House in Branford. He was a member of the Victorian Boys Club where he still enjoyed lifelong friendships he made while he was a member.

He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and loved to travel with his family. He was captain of the Hamden High School Swim team in the 1950's and also served in the U.S. Navy.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
