Obituary: Ralph Edwin Fuller, 90, of Branford
An Army veteran and a Branford High School teacher, he was a member of Branford Lions Club, American Legion Post 83 and Branford Yacht Club.
Ralph Edwin Fuller, age 90, of Branford died Friday February 4, 2022 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 68 years to Irene Buczynski Fuller.
Ralph was born in Madbury, NH in 1931 a son of the late Harold Pendleton and Mabel Fuller Pendleton. A past member of the New Hampshire National Guard in Franklin, NH, he served in the U. S. Army, attaining the rank of corporal during the Korean War, from 1952-53. He returned to New Hampshire and Keene State College in 1954, graduating in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Arts Education. Ralph and his family settled in Branford in 1957 as an Industrial Arts teacher at Branford High School. He completed graduate studies with a Master of Science Degree from Central Connecticut State University in 1958 and a Sixth Year Professional Diploma of Advanced Studies in Administration-Supervision from Southern Connecticut State University in 1988. Ralph was honored as “Outstanding Teacher of the Year – 1984” by the Connecticut Industrial Arts Association.

Ralph has been an active member of the St. Therese Church in Branford, a member and past president (1976) of the Branford Lions Club for 46 years; a member of the American Legion Post 83 in Branford and an active member of the Branford Yacht Club for 35 years.
In addition to Irene, Ralph is survived by his children, Paula (Ben) Krom and Mark E. (Suzanne) Fuller of Branford; his grandchildren, Heather, Amanda and Brendan Krom and Andrew Fuller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his Goddaughter, Julie Lettre. He was predeceased by his daughter Tana Marie and his brother Herbert B. Fuller.With his wife Irene and children, he enjoyed helping those in need, taking family camping trips, traveling, fishing and home projects.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday February 11, at 10:00 am in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Therese Church, 105 Leetes Island Road, Branford. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John Bosco Parish, 731 Main St., Branford, CT 06405.
