In 1967, Bob moved his family to an old house in Guilford where he applied the skills of building, remodeling, and re-purposing that he learned as a youngster to make a beautiful home for his family. The thing that most attracted Bob to this property was the wonderful yard where his children (and neighborhood children) could play. Bob remained in this home until his death.
Bob enjoyed family gatherings, his cabin in Vermont, playing his guitar, and road trips with Nancy around the United States and Canada. His favorite hobby was fishing, especially off his bass boat in Lake Champlain and fly fishing in any stream or river that presented itself. He spent numerous hours during the winter months tying his own flies. He also enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots play.
