Obituary: ​Rose Marie Knowlton, 84, of Branford

Rose Marie Knowlton of Branford, died Tuesday February 13, 2018 on her 84th birthday. She was the wife of the late Frederick “Bill” Knowlton. Rose was born in New Haven February 13, 1934, daughter of the late Antonio and Margaret Esposito Palmieri.

She worked for Interplex in New Haven for many years, retiring in 1999. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Branford. Rose is survived by her children, William (Dawn) Knowlton, John (Beverly) Knowlton and Thomas (Linda) Knowlton; her sisters, Patty Frank, Ann Talevi and Margaret Johnson; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother Frank Palmieri and sister Louise Anderson.Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, Friday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in Branford Center Cemetery.
