Rose Sarno Viele, 86, of Branford passed away July 5, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. Wife of the late John B. Viele. Beloved mother of Carol Powers and her husband Timothy of Branford and the late Joann Viele.

Loving grandmother of Kristen Morgillo and fiance Massimo Gambardella, Joseph Morgillo, Christopher and Brandon Graham. Cherished great grandmother of Giovanni, Guilianna and Gia Gambardella and Allyanna Morgillo.

Daughter of the late Henry Sarno and Madeline Gambardella Sarno Caputo. Sister of Carol Murphy of East Haven and the late Henry Sarno. Stepdaughter of the late Pasquale Caputo. Also survived by 3 nephews.

Prior to her retirement Rose worked for the Burndy Corporation for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to a GRAVESIDE SERVICE Friday morning at 11:00 in East Lawn Cemetery.
